- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We went last night for a meal, having phoned first to book. In fact loads of tables free. Beer and wine OK. Didnt have to wait very long for the starter, though bear in mind we were alone in the restaurant for some time. Sizzling starter was very good. Partner had the King Prawn Biryani which she said was OK but didnt appear to have prawns visible to me, which she felt had been cut up in the meal. My lamb Pathan balti was delicious which I ordered with lemon rice. Presentation was good, a dish warmer with night light candles was brought to the table first to keep the meals warm while we dished out what we wanted first onto our plates.
